આકાર (Shapes)
આ એકમમાં
તમે તમારી આસપાસ દેખાતી જુદી જુદી આકૃતિઓ (જેમ કે વસ્તુઓના આકાર) વિશે શીખો છો. દરેક આકારને
પોતાની બાજુઓ અને ખૂણાઓ હોય છે.
મુખ્ય આકારો:
- ચોરસ (Square): આ આકારને 4 સમાન બાજુઓ હોય છે અને 4 ખૂણા હોય છે. ચોરસના બધા ખૂણા કાટકોણ (90અંશ) હોય છે.
- ઉદાહરણ: કેરમબોર્ડ, બ્રેડનો ટુકડો.
- લંબચોરસ (Rectangle): આ આકારને પણ 4 બાજુઓ અને 4 ખૂણા હોય છે. તેની સામસામેની બાજુઓ સમાન હોય છે અને તેના બધા ખૂણા પણ કાટકોણ (90અંશ) હોય છે.
- ઉદાહરણ: મોબાઈલ ફોન, પુસ્તક.
- ત્રિકોણ (Triangle): આ આકારને 3 બાજુઓ અને 3 ખૂણા હોય છે.
- ઉદાહરણ: સેન્ડવીચનો ટુકડો, પિઝાનો એક ભાગ.
- વર્તુળ (Circle): આ એક સંપૂર્ણ ગોળ આકાર છે. તેને કોઈ સીધી બાજુ કે ખૂણો હોતો નથી.
- ઉદાહરણ: સિક્કો, ઘડિયાળનું ડાયલ.
- પંચકોણ (Pentagon): આ આકારને 5 બાજુઓ અને 5 ખૂણા હોય છે.
- ષટ્કોણ (Hexagon): આ આકારને 6 બાજુઓ અને 6 ખૂણા હોય છે.
Shapes
In this
unit, you learn about different figures you see around you (like the
shapes of objects). Each shape has its own sides and angles.
Main Shapes:
- Square: This shape has 4 equal
sides and 4 angles. All angles of a square are right angles
(90અંશ).
- Example: Carrom board, slice of
bread.
- Rectangle: This shape also has 4 sides
and 4 angles. Its opposite sides are equal, and all its angles are
also right angles (90અંશ).
- Example: Mobile phone, book.
- Triangle: This shape has 3 sides
and 3 angles.
- Example: Slice of a sandwich, a
piece of pizza.
- Circle: This is a perfectly round
shape. It has no straight sides or angles.
- Example: Coin, clock dial.
- Pentagon: This shape has 5 sides
and 5 angles.
- Hexagon: This shape has 6 sides
and 6 angles.
Shapes
are identified by the number of their sides and the number of their
angles.
